2 months ago, a friend in facebook posted that she wanted to find a new online job. I remember my sister referring me to Odesk.com. I told my friend that she may try Odesk.com. Two days ago, I received a chat message "Hi Magie, I just want to say thank you" from her. At first, I didn't know why she said that, so I asked, "ha? why?". She then replied that because of Odesk, now, she has a new job. She said, "it really works!"

Currently, my job is also an online job. I work as an executive assistant to a Justice of the Peace cum Licensed Migration Agent based in Australia. Working at home is really rewarding. No fare, you dont need to buy office attire, free food because I eat what my mom cooks, I can sleep to bed during my lunch break, and the salary is good!

Leaving My Partner in exchange of Career
It was my 4th time to be in the same situation. I must leave my partner to become successful in my career.
The first one. He said, "I know you love your bf, but if everything goes wrong with you and him, then we're on." (Then I can go to US!) I could not remember the exact words and I was not sure if that's a real deal but of course, I said, I'm not sure, just to gently say no to my boss. I was his legal assistant.
The second one. I was already under approved petition for fiancee visa (from my ex, US Navy), awaiting medical schedule in St. Lukes and ready for interview in the US embassy. We broke up for 5 months because of him cheating) but still my petition was just there, ready for confirmation from me. One call to the embassy and I would be scheduled. He called me and wanted me back, be his wife, go to US. I was already dating a new guy named Michael then. One afternoon, while I was looking at the sky, at around 5pm, suddenly I felt like I was in another place. Some wind whisphered to me "Would you be happy there without Michael by your side?". Okay, I said, Im choosing Michael, not this ex that petitioned me and would have brought me to US in a month or two.
The third one. My classmate in my Law Review Class offerred me to become his assistant at first. He said he would help me go to US. I said yes, so "lets start the process". I thought he was going to process a work permit for me so that would be fine. But later, he said, if you want to go there quickly, I will marry you and divorce you. Hmmm, that sounds awful to me. I was dating Michael. I told him about it, he said, don't go. I also told this to two friends. They said, "how come he would help you? There's something in exchange of that".
"~because I am kind? haha", I told them... Okay, I know... He has a crush on me. Later on, he said, "maybe we could make the marriage real. Be the mother of my children". Oh hell no! He is as old as my father!
The fourth one. I was offerred a really really good job. I would become a consultant in Australia for Filipinos who want to go there. I would have to be trained for 6months, go back to the Philippines, train again for 6months, then go back, then train again for 6 months. I was overwhelmed. I did not apply for the job but because of my existing knowledge in Australian immigration law, I was offered to become a business partner, and become a consultant. The only thing they like is focus. No boyfriend or partner or husband allowed. How could I do that? I should leave my bf, actually, break up with him. The demands of the job would be really demanding. And I could not be successful if I would become a girlfriend/wife/partner. The owner of the business said, many have tried not to leave their partners and they all failed. I wanted to tell him, "Sir, you're the fourth one to give me a good opportunity in exchange for my partner, but you all failed. So I declined the offer, and have chosen my partner.

E-cigarette | E-health Cigarette
Last month, I bought an e-cigarette for my boyfriend. It's worth P800. I think this is the best solution for him to quit smoking! So I bought one becayse I really hate the smoke, and I used to step out of the house whenever he smokes.
E-cigarette is a big help, not just to me who really hate smokes and cigarette smell. It's more helpful to those who smoke who really want to quit smoking. When my bf used the ecigarette, he was not buying marlboro often, only when the ecigarette gets low batt. After two weeks, he said, the ecigarette has a good effect on him, because one time when he bought the ecigarette, he said he felt that the smoke was odd.

On Elizandra Ramboyong's "Let's sue each other here" video
Last night, my 2 elder sisters and I were busy trying to retrieve this video "Ang napapala ng makapal ang mukhang kabit" by Elizandra Ramboyong. My sisters and I were amazed of how stupid she was to upload this video wherein she relentlessly injured physically this girl whom she called the mistress of her husband. She mentioned in one of her posts that the girl's name is Cheska Luna.
There were copies of the video in Facebook and Youtube yesterday morning. However, at around 5pm yesterday, we were surprised, the posts in Facebook with that video were gone. The Youtube videos were also gone.
We tried to retrieve the temporary internet files about the video, but to no avail.
Well, good thing some people were able to save it, and managed to share it on Facebook again, and Youtube again. We were lucky enough to save an mp4 version of this video to our local computer.
Our (my eldest sister's, my elder sister's, my cousin's, and mine) reactions to the video were basically, I can say, the same. We are for "Cheska Luna", and we condemn the acts of "Elizandra Ramboyong" or "Toho" or "Molina" and her "mal-educada" attitude.
It seemed like Elizandra Ramboyong was so proud of what she did. Physically hurting a woman, whom she called "kabit" or "mistress of her husband" in front of people in Market Market mall made her proud.
Elizandra said "magkademandahan na tayo rito ha!". She was so proud to shout that out. She has no evidence of any criminal act on the part of the mistress. She has no evidence of concubinage on the part of the husband and the so called "mistress". Under the Revised Penal Code, Article 334, a husband would be liable for concubinage if he (1) Shall keep a mistress in the conjugal dwelling, (2) Shall have sexual intercourse with her under scandalous circumstances, and (3) Cohabit with her in any other place. None of these mentioned elements was shown to be existing.
Elizandra can not even use the law "Anti-Violence against Women and their Children" (Anti-VAWC) Law against the "kabit". The "kabit" was not doing anything against Elizandra when she outrageously attacked her. However, if she likes, she could file a case against her husband based on the Anti-VAWC Law.
I feel sorry for Elizandra Ramboyong for losing the love of her husband, but I give my sympathy to Cheska Luna. Eventhough Elizandra is legally married to her husband, and her husband's attention was shifted to Cheska, that still did not give Elizandra the right to physically hurt Cheska Luna.
In my own opinion, she should have confronted her husband, not the mistress.
Now, with the evidence video, Cheska Luna could win if she files a case against Elizandra Ramboyong. It could be Physical Injuries, or Frustrated Homicide or Frustrated Murder, depending on the circumstances. Under the Revised Penal Code:
Art. 263. Serious physical injuries. — Any person who shall wound, beat, or assault another, shall be guilty of the crime of serious physical injuries...
Art. 248. Murder. — Any person who, not falling within the provisions of Article 246 shall kill another, shall be guilty of murder and shall be punished by reclusion temporal in its maximum period to death, if committed with any of the following attendant circumstances:
1. With treachery, taking advantage of superior strength, with the aid of armed men, or employing means to weaken the defense or of means or persons to insure or afford impunity.
2. In consideration of a price, reward, or promise.
3. By means of inundation, fire, poison, explosion, shipwreck, stranding of a vessel, derailment or assault upon a street car or locomotive, fall of an airship, by means of motor vehicles, or with the use of any other means involving great waste and ruin.
4. On occasion of any of the calamities enumerated in the preceding paragraph, or of an earthquake, eruption of a volcano, destructive cyclone, epidemic or other public calamity.
5. With evident premeditation.
6. With cruelty, by deliberately and inhumanly augmenting the suffering of the victim, or outraging or scoffing at his person or corpse.
Art. 249. Homicide. — Any person who, not falling within the provisions of Article 246, shall kill another without the attendance of any of the circumstances enumerated in the next preceding article, shall be deemed guilty of homicide and be punished by reclusion temporal.
Cheskla Luna could also file a case against Elizandra's companions. The ones who helped Elizandra Ramboyong could be liable as accessories to the crime committed.

Usapang Stocks
Medyo marami-rami na rin ang nagtatanong sa akin about stocks and how to buy them. I currently have bought Meralco Stocks and I use BPI trade in buying or selling them. Nagsimula ako mag-aral (mag-game) ng stocks using the Philippine Stock Exchange website. It's a game.
I have tried Fgen dati, at first I thought magandang stocks yun, pero it gave me a lost.
Buying stocks is like a gamble, like a business. Well, palagi ko ngang sinasabi sa sarili ko, life is a gamble naman eh. Lahat sugal. Lahat ng meron sa buhay ay sugal.
Medyo natatamad pa akong magsulat ngayon ng mahaba-mahaba na as in masasagot lahat ng tanong about stocks. For now, eto yung naging usapan namin ng ate ko nung na-curious siya about it, nanghiram kasi ako ng pera sa kanya para pambili ng stocks:

The Story of Balaam's Donkey | Numbers 22:1-35
There once was a greedy man called Balaam. The wicked King of Moab sent for Balaam and promised him money if he would curse God's people. God talked to Balaam and told him not to go to the King, and not to curse His people. Again the King of Moab sent Princes to call Balaam. God was angry with Balaam because Balaam's heart was filled with greed. God let Balaam go to the King, but watch what God did.
On the way, Balaam's donkey saw the Angel of the Lord standing in the road. The angel had a sword in his hand. The poor donkey turned away.
Balaam never saw the angel. He beat the donkey and turned him to get back on the road. The poor animal fell down and Balaam hit him again.
Suddenly God let the donkey speak. "Why are you beating me?" the donkey asked. The donkey said, "Aren't I your donkey which you rode ever since I was yours?"
"Well, no," said Balaam "Because you have made a fool out of me", replied Balaam.
Just then, God opened Balaam's eyes. He saw the Angel of the Lord in the road and fell flat on his face. God spoke to Balaam and told him to go the King. God told Balaam to bless His people instead of cursing them. Balaam got a big fright and did as God commanded.
